IT’S A ROCKGARDEN PARTY – AN INTERACTIVE CHILDREN’S MUSICAL  – Palmerston Library Theatre

It’s a ROCKgarden Party!!!!
That was the show I saw.  It was the story of a “skater dude” from the city who journeys into the forest and discovers a large garden with beautiful trees and plants. While there he meets a leafman and a butterfly who teach him about their environment and what the                  city’s pollution does to nature.

The music was great! They had good harmony and got the kids in the audience involved by giving them musical instruments to play. The show also includes a little bit of dance in the mix. They had a wonderful set with a background of a colourful forest and props such as trees and mushrooms.

In my opinion this show is more of a fun and interactive concert for kids to jump up and down to have some fun, but is not a substantial play.
